Funding fast tracks hospital maintenance and improves technology

Calvary Hospital, Bruce.

CALVARY Public Hospital Bruce will get $12.5 million worth of improvements to its information and community technology infrastructure and building infrastructure. 

The ACT government announced the investment today (September 9), saying the funding will also go towards upgrades to nurse call and medical emergency buttons, refurbishing the endoscopy suite and replacement of access control doors.

Calvary Public Hospital Bruce will also receive funding to upgrade the fire safety system and undertake electrical upgrades, including a new distribution board.

Information community technology network improvements will include upgrading WIFI across the hospital campus in preparation of the future roll out of the ACT Digital Health Record.
