Girl and man down in river

AN 11-year-old girl and a 48-year-old man drowned this afternoon (December 19) at Paddy’s River.

Paddys River is in the south-west of the ACT.

Police say emergency services were called to the location around 2.20pm. At this stage police do not believe these deaths are suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
