THIS predictive mapping from the ESA for the next couple of challenging days makes very grim reading. By Sunday, the fire is predicted to have reached the suburban southern suburbs.
Tomorrow the map predicts that (in dark red) the fire will spread significantly, especially to its south. More worryingly, the (darker pink) predicts an ember attack on Tharwa Village.
By Sunday (light pink) the fire is predicted to be beyond Tharwa and moving into the Canberra suburbs of Banks and Gordon.
