Group used hire cars to transport drugs to Queanbeyan

A MAN’S been arrested after he was allegedly part of a criminal group using hire cars to transport prohibited drugs between Sydney and Queanbeyan.

The man, a 30-year-old, was arrested on Collett Street, Queanbeyan, at about 3.30pm yesterday. His arrest follows the arrests of a 60-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, earlier this year, who also allegedly were involved. They remain before the courts.

The 30-year-old was charged with participating in a criminal group, taking party to the supply of cannabis and supplying prohibited drugs at a commercial quantity.

He will face charges at the Queanbeyan Local Court.

Anyone with information that may assist Strike Force Bozos investigators is urged to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333000 or via nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
