Hail hammers the inner suburbs

THE inner-south and the inner-south was slammed by hail early this afternoon in a day of predicted “severe thunderstorms”. 

The burst of hail was described by one householder as “noisy and bouncing everywhere.”

The Bureau of Meteorology suggest that amid a 95 per cent of showers (becoming less likely tonight), that possibly severe thunderstorms are likely.
