CANBERRA Liberals MLA Giulia Jones has stepped in as the shadow assistant health minister to support shadow health minister Vicki Dunne during an unprecedented health crisis.
Her new role will add to her portfolios of shadow minister for police, corrections and women.
Opposition leader Alistair Coe made the announcement today (March 18), saying: “Giulia comes to this portfolio with a history of strong advocacy for health and mental health policy, and of supporting our tireless doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.”
“I welcome Giulia’s expertise, passion and commitment toward ensuring the ACT has the best health system in the country,” he says.
