Libs take the lead… to dog parks promise

THE Canberra Liberals have offered two new dog parks for the inner-north and inner-south as part of their election promises.

Leader Alistair Coe says many dog owners, particularly in suburbs such as Kingston, live in apartments and town houses and don’t have large backyards for their pets to play and exercise in.

The Canberra Liberals will also deliver a new destination playground and upgrade other playgrounds, improve parking at Red Hill, Narrabundah, Watson and Lyneham shops and deliver new toilets at the Kingston Foreshore, Red Hill Shops, Downer, Watson and Hackett shops.
