Long queue for Costco’s oldies hour

AMERICAN retailer Costco has joined the major Australian supermarket chains with dedicated shopping time for older or more vulnerable members of the community.

As the Majura Park photo shows the need seems to be great among senior citizens with the queue for this morning’s 9am-10am window snaking out of the store, along the side of the building and off towards the carpark.

One attendee, who took one look at the line and fled to Woolworths, said it went as far as the Dan Murphy liquor store.
