A DRIVER ran from an accident after crashing into a car on the intersection of Coranderrk Street and Constitution Avenue on Thursday (March 12) afternoon.
He was driving a blue Subaru station wagon with registration YKU88B at the time of the crash and was seen driving the same car erratically beforehand.
Between 3.30pm and 4pm police report he was driving erratically on London Circuit, Constitution Avenue, Commonwealth Avenue bridge and Coranderrk Street and was also seen swerving between cars, driving on the wrong side of the road and failing to stop at several red lights.
The man eventually collided with another vehicle before running away from the incident.
He is described as Caucasian, with short brown hair and was wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts at the time of the accident.
Members of the public who witnessed the Subaru driving erratically or who have dash-cam footage of it, are urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000 quoting job reference 6508576.
