Man steals excavator from O’Malley building site

A GILMORE man’s been charged after he stole a Bobcat excavator from an O’Malley building site on Tuesday (June 30) morning. 

The 28-year-old was charged by police after someone noticed the excavator hidden off the Monaro Highway.

He will face charges in the ACT Magistrates Court.

Any suspicious activity, dash-cam footage or information that could assist police can be provided to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
