THE Orroral Valley fire has been downgraded this morning (February 3) to an advice level bushfire warning.

ACT ESA says crews will take advantage of cooler weather conditions to strengthen containment in the north, west and south edges of the fireground.

The agency advises residents to remain vigilant as the fire, about 69,064 hectares in size, is still burning out of control.
