Plan ahead now for a hassle-free holiday

Relax on board.

Sick of all the restrictions this year? Ready to create some fun, domestic travel plans for the family in 2021? Carnival is the one-stop way to make travel dreams a reality. This is a sponsored post.

DOMESTIC cruises are back on the agenda and it’s time to think ahead to next year and book a relaxing cruise that will give the family a fun getaway without lifting a finger.

Carnival offers hassle-free holidays where visitors only have to unpack once, as they wake up in a new destination every other day, and the fun starts the moment they board.

Carnival is encouraging Aussies to plan ahead for the second half of 2021, when the hope is that the cruise industry will be back up and running, so people can get out and #SeaYourBackyard.

Hit the mini gold course with the family… the holiday begins before the ship even departs.

Fun-loving Aussie families will be able to enjoy a down-to-earth experience at incredible value. With no laborious check-in, or waiting hours to get to the destination – head straight to the pool, bar, spa, fitness centre, mini-golf course or on-board waterpark, and the holiday begins before the ship even departs.

Hours of fun at the on-board waterpark.

Most dining is included in the fares, from à la carte, 24/7 pizza and ice cream, burgers, tacos, salads, cakes and more, without spending anything extra. And if holidaymakers choose to spend extra on specialty dining options like sushi or the steakhouse, it’s more cost-effective than most near-equivalents on land, and a unique experience to match.

There’s even a free kids’ club onboard, with age-appropriate activities for two to 11-year-olds, which is also open on port days in case parents want to head ashore for some alone time.

There are dinner seatings to suit both younger and older families, each with accompanying Broadway-style shows to continue the evening afterwards.

Visitors can indulge their inner diva with karaoke, and attend deck parties and theme nights – think 1980s, Mexican, elegant – throughout the cruise.

Carnival is offering an array of itineraries, departing from both Sydney and Brisbane, cruising on magnificent ships such as Carnival Splendor and Carnival Spirit.

Itineraries include “Getaway Cruises” – a casual cruise that heads out to the Pacific Ocean for the weekend, with no ports of call, just a restful few days at sea enjoying all the delights onboard (itineraries available from both Sydney and Brisbane).

The Carnival Splendor departs from both Sydney and Brisbane.

There’s also four days to Moreton Island, departing from Sydney; four days to Airlie Beach, departing from Brisbane; four to five days to Tasmania, departing Sydney and calling into Hobart and/or Port Arthur.

For a longer holiday, there’s seven-to-10-day trips (depending on the departure port) to the Great Barrier Reef, calling into Airlie Beach, Port Douglas, Cairns and Willis Island (scenic cruising). Itineraries are available from both Sydney and Brisbane.

Once booked, just pack the suitcase and get to the port, and everything else is taken care of. No doing the dishes, making the bed or cooking for the entire cruise, which beats a lot of other holiday options!

To book, call your travel agent, call Carnival on 13 31 94, or visit the Carnival website, where you can also sign up to receive emails with all the latest offers.
