TONIGHT’S (March 13) NRL match between the Canberra Raiders and Gold Coast Titans will proceed as planned, with members and the community able to attend the match at GIO Stadium, according to the Canberra Raiders.
After consultation with the ACT government and the NRL, the Raiders say it will be welcoming members and fans to the game tonight in a safe environment.
The decision comes after Australia’s chief medical officer said mass gatherings of more than 500 people should be cancelled amid fears about the spread of coronavirus, and Prime Minister Scott Morrison said “non-essential” events with more than 500 people should not go ahead.
