Rain dampens Orroral Valley fire status

AFTER weeks of tireless firefighting efforts at Orroral Valley, the fire status has finally been downgraded to patrol.

This is due to significant rainfall across the fireground, says ACT ESA.

Now, firefighting resources are only required for patrol purposes and major re-ignition is unlikely.
