THERE are concerns over the health of consumers after worries that peanuts could be found inside a pesto product sold at Coles nationally.
The product, Italia Pesto al Basilico, 290gm, has been recalled if it has a best before date of “24/09/2021” for fears that it could contain peanuts.
This follows a recall on January 31 of the same product with a best before date of “28/08/2021”.
Coles says consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if they consume the product, and any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers can return the product to any Coles Supermarket for a full refund.
