Ride share driver attacked in Page carpark

A RIDE share driver was stopped and assaulted in a Page carpark yesterday (February 2) morning. 

It was about 5.30am in a carpark at the Page playing fields on Burkitt Street when the driver was stopped by a man and assaulted.

The man, who is described as having a thin build, wearing a dark hooded jumper, with an Australian accent, also stole cash from the driver.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or provide any information that could assist police, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6493475.
