Sandy’s spreading the joy of pets again

WITH a love for all animals, Sandy Borgo, owner of gift store Charlie & Chums, says she’s so happy to be open again at South Point Tuggeranong.

She says her store helps to spread the joy that pets bring and makes people smile.

“People tell me that the store makes them feel happy,” she says.

Charlie & Chums sells a wide range of gift items, such as jewellery, cards, tableware, metal and ceramic figurines, as well as collars and leads.

Sandy says she has a number of outdoor sculptures and figurines to dress up the garden, with animals such as flamingoes, turtles, frogs and birds.

“Over this time a lot of people have been working in the gardens and have found areas that might need inspiration with a beautiful sculpture,” says Sandy, who started the business in 2012 out of her love of dogs and animals, and how they bring joy, love and companionship.

Charlie & Chums is open 10am-3pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays, 10am-5pm, Fridays, and 9am-2pm, Saturdays. Visit the website to make online purchases.
