A CYCLIST is in hospital with serious facial injuries following a collision with a car in Phillip this morning (October 23).

The crash, which involved a grey sedan and a cyclist on a black and red bicycle, happened on Athlon Drive, about 100 metres south of the Hindmarsh Drive, at about 6.20am
