‘Serious’ Phillip crash puts cyclist in hospital

A CYCLIST is in hospital with serious facial injuries following a collision with a car in Phillip this morning (October 23). 

The crash, which involved a grey sedan and a cyclist on a black and red bicycle, happened on Athlon Drive, about 100 metres south of the Hindmarsh Drive, at about 6.20am

Police believe the driver of the grey sedan and the cyclist had an earlier interaction when travelling westbound on Hindmarsh Drive.

Police are urging anyone that witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference number 6657899.
