Seventy-year-old dies in fatal house fire

A SEVENTY-year-old woman died in a house fire in Kambah last night (November 29) while a man is being treated in hospital. 

ACT Fire and Rescue located the woman and the man at about 7.45pm, and the 74-year-old man was treated at the scene before taken to hospital. 

While the cause of the fire is unknown, ACT police say there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances but will continue their investigation. 

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
