Teen assaulted in Belconnen mall brawl

A TEENAGE man was assaulted during a brawl between two groups at Belconnen Mall last Tuesday (October 13).

Police say the fight happened on the lower level of the mall in the forecourt adjacent to the Benjamin Way entrance at about 4.30pm.

Police have released images of three teenagers and would like to speak to in relation to the incident. They say they’ve blurred the faces in the images because they believe they’re under the age of 18.

He is described as Caucasian, about 15 to 18-years-old, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black shorts and a white cap at the time of the incident.

Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference number 6646793.
