A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after being assaulted and robbed in Gungahlin early yesterday (January 29).
At about 12.10am, the teenager was walking near the intersection of James Kirk Street and Gundaroo Drive when it is alleged he was approached by a group of people.
The teenager ran away and members of the group chased him. It is alleged he was assaulted at the Nellie Hamilton roundabout and his belongings were stolen.
The teenager was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
