The stupid toilet-roll shortage rolls on

Photos: Carol Ewen

ON Monday (March 24) citynews.com.au reported the miraculous sight of replenished shelves of Woolworths at Woden, resplendently loaded with rolls and rolls of toilet paper. By this afternoon it was the all-too-familiar sight of an empty aisle.

Is this toilet paper hoarding still going on? Ironically, even in the event of catching COVID:19, research shows that only 4 per cent of suffers are affected by diarrhoea.

Now, off to the meat cabinet…

It is lose/lose. If you don’t hoard and wait till you are down to a couple of rolls, chances are you won’t be able to get any.
