The votes are in: Labor will win another term

ACT Labor will form government for another term, according to election analyst Antony Green.

Mr Green called it on ABC News just before 8pm, saying Labor will be returned for a sixth term.

The Canberra Liberals are likely to lose seats in Brindabella, Kurrajong, Murrumbidgee and Gininderra.

In Brindabella, the Liberals will see MLA and shadow business minister Andrew Wall lose his seat.

The Liberals also took a hit in Ginninderra, where it’s believed that the Belco Party has taken votes away from the party.

Earlier in the night, outgoing Liberals MLA Vicki Dunne said the pandemic made it hard for them to get on the front foot.
