PHYSIOTHERAPIST Vera Chalneva has joined practice principal Greg Nash at the Manuka Woden Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic’s Woden location.

Vera, who’s a recent graduate from the University of Canberra, has a background in gymnastics and dance and is also a gymnastics coach at Queanbeyan YMCA in her spare time.

She says she has a passion for remedial massage as well as supporting those with dance-related injuries and back pain.

Specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Greg says he covers the areas of sports physiotherapy, orthopaedics and occupational health and safety.

He also sees patients who are experiencing pain from past surgeries or injury.

“Having Vera join the team is extremely complementary to the practice,  particularly as I look after the footy players at Gridiron ACT and my daughter is a ballet teacher and has danced since she was a child,” Greg says.

“Vera is able to provide support in women’s health issues and will assist me as she gradually builds up her clientele.”

With a focus on making it as easy as possible for patients to get to their physiotherapy appointment, Greg says the practice has a 24-hour number people can call for urgent requests or if they need to change an appointment.
