Wilder weather heading our way, warns ESA

STRONG winds and rain are forecast across the the ACT with up to 25mm of rain expected tonight and up to 45mm tomorrow (February 10) with periods of heavy showers.

Here it comes…

The ACT State Emergency Service says it has already (at 5pm. February 9) received 25 requests for assistance with four crews are responding. Additional crews have been identified to activate should they be required.

The ESA is urging Canberrans not park under trees and take steps to keep their property safe.
