Woman assaulted in drunken Gilmore ‘scuffle’

“SEVERAL” people were taken into custody for being drunken and disorderly in a public space in Gilmore early yesterday (July 5) morning. 

Police were called to the licensed premises on Isabella Drive after reports of a woman being physically assaulted at about 12.05am.

On arrival, police say there were a number of minor scuffles.

They are currently investigating the assault of the woman and are seeking witnesses or footage.
