Young woman assaulted in Braddon

AN 18-year-old woman was assaulted while walking in Braddon in the early hours of Sunday morning (February 23).

At about 3am the woman was approached by a man who assaulted her.

The man is described as 25-35-years-old, dark skinned with a solid build. He is about  178cm (5’10”) tall, with scruffy, medium-length hair. During the incident he was wearing a dark-coloured baggy T-shirt and black shorts.

Police say there may be other people who have been approached by this man and who may have had previous interactions with him and are urging anyone who may be able to identify him or who has any information about these incidents to call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
