Update: Belconnen Way (westbound) remains closed due to crash

UPDATE: Paramedics transported two patients to hospital, one in a stable condition and one with multiple injuries requiring further assessment. Police remain on scene and Belconnen Way (Westbound) will remain closed for some time. 

BELCONNEN Way (westbound) has been closed after a motor vehicle accident occurred between Gungahlin Drive and Haydon Drive this afternoon (February 17).

ACT Fire and Rescue, paramedics and police are on scene with rescue operations underway.

Emergency services are urging the community to avoid the area.
