POLICE have charged a man with drug and firearm offences, as part of an ongoing investigation by ACT Policing’s Task Force Nemesis into outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) drug distribution in the ACT.
The 31-year-old man from Ngunnawal was arrested at his home yesterday (December 15) and later charged with attempted trafficking of a controlled drug, possession of ammunition and two counts of possessing prohibited firearms, police say.
The man will face court today (December 16) along with his associate, a 46-year-old Braddon man, who was arrested by the taskforce in November and charged after police found 60 grams of suspected cocaine, $15,000 in cash and a set of knuckle dusters in his Braddon home.
Anyone with information about the manufacture, distribution and sale of illicit drugs in the ACT is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
