Julie strives to build trust with clients

Julie Ford

PRINCIPAL of Ford and Associates Julie Ford is passionate about creating a genuine sense of trust with her clients.

An insurance and financial adviser, Julie is known for helping small business owners, tradies, builders, construction workers and others to protect their wealth and assets – now and into the future – through tailored financial plans inclusive of appropriate risk insurance.

“In this line of work being genuinely interested in people and getting to know them is very important,” says Julie.

“I really try to build a rapport with my clients and get to know them and their goals – whether that’s for retirement, holidays, family, or anything else.

“Those sorts of things come up naturally through conversation and play a big part in helping people find confidence in their future.”

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Julie says she’s worked with clients spanning generations and to this day finds her work as rewarding as ever.

“The last few years have been tough in business, especially with covid, and being able to maintain trust with clients is something I’ve really strived for,” she says.

“To me, risk is risk. Whether you’re insuring a building or insuring a life, it’s all about understanding what that risk means to someone.”
