Karabar raid uncovers cocaine and drug infused lollies

A POLICE raid in Karabar has uncovered 20 cannabis plants and 60 grams of cocaine, worth an estimated potential street value of $97,000. 

Officers also located confectionary infused with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Officers from the Monaro Police District and Riverina Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at the home yesterday (September 14) on Pindari Crescent at about 9am, where they found a hydroponic grow room in a shed storing the drugs.

A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with cultivating a prohibited plant and possessing prohibited drugs.

He will face Queanbeyan Local Court on November 11.
