More than 20 new exposure sites recognised

MORE than 20 new exposure sites have been identified by ACT Health in the past 24 hours. 
New exposure sites include:
  • Lyneham High School, Goodwin Street, Lyneham, 8.30am-3.30pm, August 9.
  • Al Manoosh Bakery, Mawson, 47 Mawson Place, noon-1pm, August 9.
  • Public transport, Bus Route 30 – Dickson to Kaleen – Stops Cowper Street, Dickson, to Kaleen High School, 3.43pm-4.10pm, August 9.
  • Instrumental Music Program Rehearsal Room, UC High School Kaleen, Baldwin Drive, 4pm-6pm, August 9.
  • Lyneham High School, Goodwin Street, Lyneham, 8.30am-3.30pm, August 10.
  • Coffee Guru Canberra Centre, Shop K05, Canberra Centre, 148 Bunda Street, noon-1pm, August 10.
  • Club Lime – CISAC, 100 Eastern Valley Way, Bruce, 6.30pm-8.15pm, August 10.
  • Lyneham High School, Goodwin Street, Lyneham, 8.30am-3.30pm, August 11.
  • Club Lime – CISAC, 100 Eastern Valley Way, Bruce, 4.45pm-7.15pm, August 11.
  • Lyneham High School, Goodwin Street, Lyneham, 8.30am-3.30pm, August 12.
  • Coffee Guru Canberra Centre, Shop K05, Canberra Centre, 148 Bunda Street, 10.45am-noon, August 12. 
Anyone who has been to any of the locations above during the times stated are required to complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, immediately quarantine, get tested for COVID-19 as advised by ACT Health, remain in quarantine even if they get a negative test result.
The casual contact exposure list has also grown, and now includes:
  • Woolworths Dickson, Dickson Place, Dickson, 3pm-4pm, August 9.
  • KFC Dickson, Bradham Street and Wooley Street, Dickson, 3pm-4pm, August 9.
  • St George Bank, 58 Wollongong Street, Fyshwick, 10.35am-11am, August 9.
  • Stockade Training Centre, 7 Kembla Street, Fyshwick, 3.45pm-5.30pm, August 9.
  • Civic Square Post Office, Shop G14-16, Canberra Centre, 148 Bunda Street, 9.30am-9.50am, August 10.
  • David Jones Canberra Centre, 148 Bunda Street, 5.15pm-6pm, August 10.
  • TLE Electrical & Data supplies, 22-36 Oatley Court, Belconnen, 7.45am-8.30am, August 11.
  • Sushi Island, 15/22 Kingsland Parade, Casey, 1pm-1.10pm, August 11.
  • Supabarn Casey, 15 Kingsland Parade, Casey, 1.05pm-1.30pm, August 11.
  • Woolworths Charnwood, 25-30 Charnwood Place, 6.30pm-7.10pm, August 11.
  • TLE Electrical & Data supplies, 22-36 Oatley Court, Belconnen, 7.30am-8.15am, August 12.
  • Coles Express Belconnen (Petrol Station), Lathlain Street and Wignall Place, 7.50am-8.10am, August 12. 

People who have been to casual contact exposure locations during the times listed are expected to, complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, immediately quarantine and get tested for COVID-19 as advised by ACT Health.

If a person was at the casual contact location less than four days ago, ACT Health says they will need two tests – one test as soon as they find out they are a casual contact and another test on day five after they were at the casual contact location.

People at the casual contact location four or more days ago only need to get one test.
