COVID hospitalisations have jumped again as the ACT recorded 1134 new cases of the virus today (July 4).
ACT Health reports there are 136 people in Canberra hospitals, two shy of the territory’s record and a jump from the 130 in yesterday’s figures.
Two people are currently in intensive care with the virus. None are on a ventilator.
Of the 1134 new cases, 555 were detected via PCR tests and 579 via RATs.
They bring the territory’s total active cases to 7488.
