Chooks decapitated in Melba

RSPCA ACT Inspectors are asking the public for help on another brutal case over the weekend.

Between 8.30am and 2.30pm on Saturday, 21 November, unknown offender/s entered the rear yard of a house in Goossens Place in Melba. Offenders then decapitated six chooks with a couple of the heads being thrown over the fence.

RSPCA ACT Senior Inspector Catherine Croatto is asking the public to help provide information on this confronting case.

“This is a disgusting case of animal cruelty. We are now asking the public to please call us if they have any information regarding who may be responsible for this action. All information is treated in a confidential manner,” Catherine said.
