Night roadwork creates diversions

THREE intersections on, the Barton Highway, William Slim Drive and Gundaroo Drive will undergo major asphalt work, changing traffic conditions over four nights. sign, road, roadworks

The changes will occur from 9pm to 6am, November 13 to 16 and during this period detours will be in place.

Gundaroo Drive will be closed on Sunday and traffic will be diverted to Gungahlin Drive. Right turns only will be permitted from Abena Avenue, Nudurr Drive and Burrowa Street onto Gundaroo Drive.

Lane closures will be in place on the Barton Highway northbound and William Slim Drive eastbound approaches on Monday. The roundabout will be closed to through and right turning traffic on the Tuesday and Wednesday. 

These road works will prepare for the installation of traffic signals in late November and are expected to be finished in February 2017.
