ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Isabella Plains IGA yesterday (Friday, 14 October).

About 8.05pm, a man approached an employee at the rear of the premises, armed with a firearm. The offender made demands for cash and escorted the employee into the store.

The employee complied with the man’s request and the offender then fled on foot through the rear of the premises, with a sum of cash.

The offender is described as being of slim build, about 178cm (5’10”) tall with blue/green eyes. He was wearing a black balaclava, all black clothing and brown work boots.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6023402. Information can be provided anonymously.
