Kelli-Ann named ACT Woman of the Year

2022 ACT Woman of the Year, Kelli-Ann Jackson

KELLI-ANN Jackson has been named the 2022 ACT Woman of the Year, for her work with the volunteer group Women’s Adventure ACT.

Kelli-Ann, was one of the early members of Women’s Adventure ACT – a not-for-profit organisation that runs outdoor activities for women – helping to boost women’s fitness and confidence.

In 2018 Kelli-Ann took on the leadership of the group which has grown to have almost 4000 members.

Women’s Adventure ACT holds hundreds of events each year including walks at the National Arboretum, bush-foraging and weaving workshops led by local Aboriginal educators.

Asha Clementi has been named the ACT Young Woman of the Year and ACT Senior Woman of the Year is Lee-Anne Daley.

Asha was recognised for her work as founder of Girls Run The World and co-founder of The Girls Leadership Network, programs which inspire young women to pursue their leadership dreams.

Lee-Anne, a Wiradjuri woman, was recognised for her efforts in helping to share Indigenous culture with the community.
