The ACT government has announced a billion-dollar spend on public education facilities over the coming decade, the biggest in education infrastructure since self government.
It said the ACT Government Education Infrastructure Plan would include new schools and major renovations at existing schools through to state-of-the-art skills and training facilities.
The government said almost $100 million would be spent on works at public schools as part of the Public School Infrastructure Renewal Program, including roof replacements.
It includes the $325 million committed to building a new CIT Campus in Woden.
