LOTTERY officials are trying to track down a lucky but elusive Victorian who is one of two winners to scoop the pool in the latest $100 million Powerball draw.

Two entries shared Thursday night’s jackpot – the mystery online Victorian player and a 10-member syndicate from Sydney, Powerball said on Friday.

Each entry pocketed a $50 million division one prize in the lottery.

“The winning Victorian entry was purchased online but lottery officials were unable to contact the ticketholder this evening so they may be completely oblivious to their multi-millionaire status,” the lottery company said.

The Sydney players – in a syndicate called Super Lucky – bought their entry at Rosebery North Newsagency, with each member winning just over $5 million.

Powerball said one of the Sydneysiders was watching football when he got the life-changing call on Thursday night.

“I can’t wait to call my mum and tell her the news – she won’t believe me,” he said on the call, according to the company.
