TICKETS are on sale for this year’s four nights – September 28-October 1 – of NightFest, an after dark live entertainment experience around the Floriade site in Commonwealth Park.
Lighting installations will highlight the garden beds throughout the park and will include giant neon butterflies in the rhododendron garden and scores of illuminated floating flowers on Kangaroo Pond.
Live music across three stages will include a performance by sisters Vika and Linda on Stage 88 on October 1. Other local performers will feature Monica Moore, Finley Geach, Harry Cleverdon and Ben Drysdale.
The Wonderland Spiegeltent will run an adults-only cabaret twice a night.
NightFest’s family entertainment includes roving entertainers from the Fool Factory and Warehouse Circus, children’s favourites the Gecko Gang and free children’s activities in the Floriade Sprouts zone.
