Half of the Australian adult population is expected to have a ticket in a lottery draw worth $150 million.
Thursday’s Powerball draw could become the biggest lottery win in the nation’s history.
It’s the largest haul on offer, second to a $160 million Powerball Jackpot in 2022, which was shared between three people.
About one in two Australian adults are expected to have a ticket, according to The Lott spokesperson, James Eddy.
“We’re anticipating a rush online and within licensed retail outlets in the lead-up to the draw,” he said.
“We’re often asked for our advice and our biggest tip to lottery players vying for a chance to win this mammoth prize is to get in early and don’t leave purchasing your entry until the last minute.”
