Poli Tataraki and Michael Winters will present their book of poetry and prints, Into the Moonlit Village, at the ACT Heritage Library, Fyshwick, November 9.
A first-of-its-kind, all-day program, Screen Stories, is a multifaceted conference for screen storytellers telling LGBTIQA+ stories. National Film and Sound Archive, November 7.

- A Balloon Will Pop At Some Point During This Play, billed as Part stand-up, part monologue, directed by Eric Loren Performed by Andrew Macmillan, at ACT Hub, Kingston, November 8-9.
- Waiting for Godot is easily the most famous play of the 20th century, one that turned the very idea of theatre upside down. The Street Theatre, November 9-24.
- Smile is a physical comedy show about the life and films of Charlie Chaplin. Marcel Cole plays Chaplin. Tuggeranong Arts Centre, November 9.
- Comedian Steve Lynch’s show U.S. of Eh?!? is a comedic exploration of his year-long adventure in America. Smith’s Alternative, November 9-10.
- Dianna Nixon’s cabaret show The Gentleman’s Companion, based on Charles H Baker Jnr’s recipes and travels will be at the Yazzbar in Yass, November 10.
Concerts
- Mikelangelo returns to the stage with a band of troupers to mark the eighth anniversary of Leonard Cohen’s death with a show at The Vault, Fyshwick, November 8.
- A concert of musical collaboration featuring Joel Bulger on Didgeridoo and Henry Liang on 7th century Japanese Sho will be at Gunning Shire Hall, November 8.
- Violinist Lina Tur Bonet, a fearless musical imaginista, and her team of period-instrument professionals, perform for Musica Viva in Musica Alchemica, Llewellyn Hall, November 9.
- Apeiron Baroque’s chamber concert, Sanguine/Melancholy, will feature duelling violins. Wesley Music Uniting Church, Forrest, November 10.
- US singer-songwriter George Mann will be at the Merry Muse, Canberra Irish Club, Weston, November 10.
- The Band of the Royal Military College Brass Group will perform The Brass is Always Greener in the Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series, November 13.
