Library reopens after five months of upgrades

Woden Library… reopens on November 18.
Woden Library, closed since May, will reopen on Monday, November 18, following upgrade works.
The library’s upgrades included:
replacing the heating and air conditioning system,
•renovating the ground floor bathroom,
•new LED lighting,
•roof repairs and other improvements.
City Services says the reading room, public computers, children’s room and community rooms at the Corinna Street pop-up library will be closed on Wednesday, November 13. However, the pop-up library will remain open until November 15 for returned items and reservations. The return chute at Woden Library will be open 24/7.
