Man charged for three assaults on partner

A 32-year-old man was arrested at work on Tuesday and charged with allegedly assaulting his partner in three separate incidents, one of which the woman needed hospital treatment.

The woman reported the series of alleged assaults to the Woden Police Station on Tuesday afternoon.

He has been charged with three counts of aggravated common assault, two counts of aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm, choking, suffocating or strangling another person, reckless threat to kill a person, aggravated reckless threat to inflict grievous bodily harm and aggravated common assault.
