Man drowns at Pine Island Reserve

A 21-year-old man has drowned at Pine Island Reserve in Greenway.

At about 6pm on Sunday, police and emergency services responded to reports a man had failed to resurface while swimming in the Murrumbidgee River.

His body was found in the water by AFP divers about 7.50pm.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
