An 18-year-old P-plater with two passengers on board his VW Jetta admitted to being stupid and showing off when police booked him for travelling at 146km/h in an 80km/h zone on Horse Park Drive in Kenny on Wednesday night.
Police issued him with an immediate suspension notice, and he also received a traffic infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h, which attracts a penalty of $1841 and the loss of six demerit points.
