A 30-year-old Florey man is facing family violence offences and resisting police.
The man approached a woman known to him. When she attempted to leave, he allegedly began making threats towards her, shaking and punching her car window at about 9pm on Friday night.
The woman started receiving calls later in the evening from the man who allegedly continued to make threats, which she reported to police.
Early on Saturday morning police attempted to engage with the man at his Florey home, however he refused to unlock the front door before he broke through a window and jumped the fence into a neighbouring property.
He was eventually arrested and charged with two counts of using a carriage service to menace, attempting to escape from arrest, escaping from arrest and resisting police.
