Man faces more than 50 family violence charges

A 51-year-old Crestwood, NSW, was arrested in Lyneham on Saturday and charged with more than 50 family violence offences alleged to have occurred over nine-years.

Since 2023, police have been investigating alleged family violence offending by the man against his former partner, two sons and a stepson.

He faces more than 50 charges including:

  • Common assault x 15
  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm x 19
  • Attempt common assault x 3
  • Threat to cause grievous bodily harm x 3
  • Demand accompanied by threat x 1
  • Neglect x 2
  • Intentional threat to kill x 6
  • Threaten a participant in criminal investigation x 1
  • Act endangering health x 1
  • Possession of offensive weapon and disabling substance with intent x 4

I hope he’s being held in custody to protect his family and any witnesses or supporters from harm!
