SEE that button at the top left of the homepage? It says “News location” and by pressing the downward arrow it will reveal access to another world of digital news – QBNCityNews – a new website dedicated to covering the local news and views of Queanbeyan.
It will feature the best of our regular “CityNews” stories, arts and columns, but enriched with local coverage from local journalists living in and reporting from Queanbeyan. The web address is citynewsqbn.com.au.
The proud launch of this website meets an ambition the “CityNews” team has been working hard towards because we believe there’s never been a better time to share our old-school journalistic values of balanced, fair and accurate reporting with a community that has been shunned and deserted by bigger, Canberra-based media players.
